ROCK HILL GALLERIA REWARDS THEIR SHOPPERS WITH GIFT CARDS

Rock Hill, SC, May 20, 2008 – Rock Hill Galleria is unveiling a shopping promotion that rewards shoppers for spending their rebate dollars – just for shopping at Rock Hill Galleria.   

Shoppers choosing to take advantage of this promotion simply need to present their Rock Hill Galleria same day receipts totaling $200 or more to the Mall Office beginning Saturday, May 24, 2008, and they will be given a $20 Mall Gift Card (while supplies last - a minimum of $2,000 will be given away).  This does not include Wal-Mart purchases.  Mall Office hours for this promotion are Monday - Friday from 9am - 6pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from noon - 6pm.

More than $100 billion in tax-rebate checks will be sent to over 130 million households, ranging up to $600 for individuals and $1,200 for married couples, plus $300 per child for eligible parents.  The first round of economic stimulus payments went out on Monday, April 28 – a week earlier than originally anticipated.

During tax season, Americans around the country face the decision to pay-off debt or major bills, save, or spend their income tax return every year.  According to a 2007 USA Today’s poll, 12% admit they plan to spend their tax refund on a major purchase, vacation, or another way other than paying bills and saving; this number has grown to 32% in 2008.
