ADULT SUPERVISION POLICY TO BE ENACTED AT ROCK HILL GALLERIA
Effective June 17, 2011, Rock Hill Galleria will implement an adult supervision policy designed to enhance the overall shopping experience for mall patrons. The policy will require that anyone under the age of 16 be accompanied by a parent or guardian age 21 or older on Friday and Saturday evenings from 5pm until the mall’s closing hour.
This new program, similar to what other malls in the area have, will be launched with a community awareness campaign which began June 3, 2011. The campaign will include registration for drawings and prizes to be awarded during the forthcoming Friday and Saturday evenings. Please visit Rock Hill Galleria’s website (www.RockHillGalleria.com) for more information.
“As much as we welcome shoppers of all ages to enjoy the retail offerings of Rock Hill Galleria, we believe appropriate parental or guardian supervision of minors during evening shopping hours is not only logical, but also crucial to providing the best shopping experience for our customers,” states Anita Clark, Associate General Manager of the 679,000 square-foot enclosed shopping center. “Both the safety of our patrons and the retail operation of our valued merchants are of the utmost concern to our team. The community’s cooperation with this program is a win-win for shoppers and merchants alike.”
